Brand awareness is the recognition and recall of a brand by consumers. It’s essentially how well people know and remember a particular brand.

There are two main types of brand awareness:

  • Unaided recall: When consumers can name a brand without any prompting.
  • Aided recall: When consumers can recognize a brand when presented with a list of options.

A strong brand awareness can lead to increased sales, customer loyalty, and higher perceived value.
